Metamorphosis Butterfly Stained Glass Mosaic 36X48"
Technique & Materials
Handcrafted from stained glass, mirror, crystals, vintage china, and carefully curated found objects, this mosaic is a richly textured experience designed to shift and shimmer with changing light. Reflection and movement bring the piece to life, allowing the viewer and surrounding environment to become part of the composition itself.
Created on a custom-built birch wood panel, the artwork arrives ready to hang with professional French cleat hardware already installed. The mosaic wraps seamlessly around the edges of the panel, allowing the piece to be experienced beautifully from every angle.
Inspiration
The butterfly’s transformation has long symbolized renewal, growth, and the beauty of becoming. Much like the butterfly, each of us moves through our own metamorphosis throughout life — continuously evolving, learning, and awakening to new perspectives. This piece is a celebration of those sacred transitions and the many phases that shape who we are.
Life’s highs and lows are equally essential to our journey. We cannot recognize the light without first knowing the dark. When we remain open-hearted, grateful, and rooted in love, the universe slowly reveals its mysteries one chapter at a time.
