The iconic view from the Telluride gondola is one of the most breathtaking I have ever seen, but for me, its beauty carries an even deeper meaning.
In 2010, I rode this gondola with my sister, and somewhere above the mountains we made a promise to ourselves: one day, we would leave Chicago and make Colorado home. Fifteen years later, I find myself surrounded by these mountains, raising my family in a place that has become an endless source of peace and inspiration for my work.
To me, this painting is about more than a beautiful view. It is about the dreams we carry with us and the quiet decisions that slowly move us toward them.
May this piece be a reminder to keep moving toward the life that calls to you.
