Dallas Divide Range | Between Telluride, Ouray & Ridgway, Colorado
This was one of the first areas of Colorado that I fell in love with when I visited over 10 years ago for the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. My sister lived in Durango at the time, and we had magical experiences traveling around the area for various adventures. The mountains in this area are jaw-dropping, especially to someone who was coming from the Chicago area. I find this divide in particular to be especially fabulous, and I enjoyed capturing it in this piece.
In this painting, I aimed to capture the magic of the mountains that I felt when I first visited and what drew me to move to Colorado from the Midwest. The gorgeous fall aspens speckle unimaginable colors throughout the valley, and the sun creates dynamic shadows on the peaks. As the sun moves throughout the day, it glitters in fantastic colors throughout the landscape.
Framing Suggestions: This size is a standard size. I recommend ordering a frame for this print with a mat that has a 20X20” opening. The mat would then cover the white border and frame the image perfectly without cropping any of it off. If you have any more questions about framing, please don’t hesitate to reach out here.

20X20” print size | Digital Giclée | Satin Finish Paper | additional white border around all sides to facilitate framing
The 18-mile hike to the Conundrum Hot Springs in the Snowmass, Colorado wilderness is a mesmerizing adventure not for the faint of heart. Two years ago my husband, friends, and I made the hike and camped at the springs overnight. This adventure was one I will never forget. The landscape was speckled with wildflowers as far as the eye could see and we encountered several moose, marmot, and deer.
The area captured in the painting was encountered just before reaching the hot springs. The sun was setting after hiking for the whole day and pools of water were cascading into each other and meeting in a glistening stream. It truly was a magical site.
I aimed to capture the serene beauty and feeling of adventure that I felt when gazing upon this beautiful spot in the wilderness.

Hand-signed 16X20” fine art print with an additional white border around all sides to facilitate with framing.
Depicting the beautiful Telluride, Colorado during fall when the aspens are golden as far as the eye can see in full bloom under the bluebird sky. Telluride is one of my favorite places in the world and is one of the reasons that I moved to Colorado. Before I lived in Colorado I would visit for the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and I fell in love. I had a moment riding the gondola with my family where I was moved by the beauty surrounding me. I remember the jaw-dropping feeling that this magical mountain town gave this midwestern girl. I hope I was able to capture some of that magic for you here in this painting.
