Emily Dwan is a professional visual artist based in the Morrison, Colorado. Acrylic paints are used to craft her abstract landscapes that aim to capture the essence of a moment rather than realism. Emily uses a modern approach to Impressionism that she calls “Electro Impressionism”. Bright colors are enhanced and brush strokes are broken to emit happiness and positivity.

Stained glass mosaics are another focus of Emily’s. She breathes new life into seemingly ordinary objects by reimagining them as a canvas. Emily meticulously adorns these objects with precisely cut stained glass pieces. Along with sculptural objects, Emily also creates mosaics displayed as flat wall pieces or architectural installations.

Emily is now accepting custom commission requests. Reach out here to brainstorm a piece of art to brighten your home or business.

In addition to painting, Emily also creates unique mosaic sculptures, wall pieces and installations. Glistening stained glass, crystals and found objects are thoughtfully applied to wooden canvases, floors, instruments, skis, and other forms to bring an exciting new life to these once ordinary objects. Emily harnesses the power of color to elicit the viewer’s emotions with her vibrant compositions.
